Ecodesign and energy labelling requirements for electronic displays

We welcome proposed measures on real-time energy feedback, minimum duration of software support, and an energy label reform but oppose the proposal to abandon key material-efficiency measures.

This revision should prioritise durability and reliability – with repairability serving as a safeguard when failures occur. Our joint paper contains relevant information about consumer behaviour and preferences, the need for reliability, repairability and circular material requirements.
