ECOS briefing: Implementing the ESPR

ECOS invites civil society organisations to join us online on 23 April at 10:00 (CEST) for a briefing to discuss the next steps for implementing the the EU Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR).

Presentation slides: Implementing the EU Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation ESPR

The EU Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR) activates a new era for sustainable products. Ambitious ecodesign rules will push the most polluting goods off the market and mandate that manufacturers prioritise the environment. This overarching regulation will directly apply to all EU member states and set rules on how to apply ecodesign to different products.

The success of the ESPR will depend on its implementation. Prioritising products, horizontal measures, and the development of standards that support them will be key to avoid delays and deal with the most polluting products first.

ECOS invites civil society organisations to register for our online briefing to discuss the next steps of implementing the ESPR and how your organisation can engage in these processes. In this closed event, participants will have the opportunity to pose questions to our panel.
