Call for experts – Electromobility
ECOS is looking for experts in the field of electromobility to represent and defend environmental interests in the development of standards and related policies. Our experts provide us with technical and scientific input and represent ECOS in standardisation processes and multi-stakeholder discussions.

ECOS seeks to subcontract someone to provide technical expertise and support regarding electromobility in general and in particular the technical standards needed to facilitate smart charging.
The nominated experts will:
- Represent ECOS and the environmental interest within CENELEC/TC205, CENELEC/TC69x, IEC/TC69, IEC/TC23/SC23K and ISO/TC22/SC31 participate to the WG meetings on behalf of ECOS, develop an ECOS position on the aspects to improve the standard, provide comments during the enquiry phase and opinion during the final vote.
- Support ECOS work within the Sustainable Transport Forum expert sub-group on governance and standards for communication exchange in the electromobility ecosystem.
- Support ECOS work on policy files such as the Alternative Fuels Infrastructure Regulation (AFIR), the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD) and the Renewable Energy Directive (RED)
- Provide technical expertise during the drafting of position papers and reports.
- Ad-hoc advice on matters related to electromobility.
ECOS offers
- A daily fee for preparation of meetings, participation and reporting, as well as other relevant tasks;
- Reimbursement of travel costs;
- Per diem to cover accommodation and subsistence costs.
