ECOS | Environmental Coalition on Standards

15 December 2020

Watch our online workshop on civil society in standardisation & the case of repair in Belgium!

Setting standards that work for the environment is key to shaping a greener future. Did you know that there are many ways for civil society to get involved?

ECOS and our Belgian member Repair & Share came together for an online workshop on engaging NGOs in standards making with a deep dive session into the field of repair

We discussed:

  • why it is important for civil society to be involved in standardisation
  • what role environmental NGOs play in the standardisation system and how they can engage
  • how the interplay of standards and policy plays out in practice focusing on the example of repair in Belgium
