Launch of H2020 research project on sustainable bio-based products

ECOS is thrilled to announce that it is an active partner of STAR Pro Bio, a Horizon 2020 research project exploring sustainability schemes for bio-based products.

STAR-ProBio aims to pave the way for a much-needed sustainability transition towards a bio-based economy and tackle environmental, social and economic challenges. The project objective is to promote a more efficient and harmonised policy regulation framework which is needed to promote the market-pull of bio-based products. This will be achieved by developing a fit-for-purpose sustainability scheme, including standards, labels and certifications for bio-based products.
