Event – CompliantTV: Compliance of TVs with Energy Label and Ecodesign Requirements

The ComplianTV project has been designed to organise large scale TV testing for the Energy Label and Ecodesign Directives compliance and retailer monitoring of the energy label display for televisions.

As one of the ten partners around the EU, including three testing laboratories, we have come together to verify the compliance of TVs for the energy efficiency requirements, producer claims and to monitor the information availability at the points of sale.

The results of the 160 TV model tests, the results of the visits of 100 physical and 100 online shops for the label display monitoring, and the overall project lessons learned and recommendations towards the proper implementation of the legislation requirements for television will be presented at our ComplianTV event, held in Brussels on the 3rd of September.
