eMobility Platform launch event

Comprising a broad range of trade associations and NGOs to formulate policy recommendations for the electrification of European transport, the newly established eMobility Platform held its launch event on the 21st of April. The event also celebrated the finalisation of its first recommendation paper. With a keynote speech by Director-General for Mobility and Transport Henrik Hololei, the launch event hosted a lively panel debate with representatives from Commissioner Cañete’s Cabinet, the Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure, Renault-Nissan and Alstrom, followed by an opportunity to discuss the recommendation paper with the authors. As Task Lead of the ‘Infrastructure and Smart Metering’ Working Group, ECOS secured recommendations for standardisation, on-board metering and electricity roaming.
