ECOS presents ANTICSS at the Ecotest project meeting
With the aim to find synergies between the running projects, ECOS presented the status of H2020 ANTICSS project at the Ecotest project meeting on 18 October.
ANTICSS was presented by our Programme Manager Nerea Ruiz, responsible for the project at the ECOS Secretariat, and the newly appointed secretary to the standardisation group ECO-CG/Task Force 2 working on tolerances, uncertainties and circumvention. Nerea shared the latest developments on the circumvention discussions with the Ecotest steering group.
While the Ecotest project has tested heating and hot water appliances under ecodesign and energy labelling regulations in order to propose new test procedures and assess the tolerances for market surveillance verification, ANTICSS may also test some products in these categories specifically looking into a number features for signs of circumvention. ECO-CG/Task Force 2 will continue to closely monitor both projects to communicate on the results and recommendations to standardisers.
