The associate membership is a possibility for organisations to support ECOS without being involved in its decision-making. Associate members provide a representation mandate and benefit from networking opportunities as well as from access to information and updates on standardisation developments. This membership package is free of charge and does not include certain exclusive benefits reserved for Full Members. The membership application process is easy and quick. If you meet our eligibility criteria you can simply send us the application form together with the documents requested below.

EXCLUSIVE ACCESS TO MEMBERS AREA ON ECOS WEBSITE & PREFERENTIAL ACCESS TO OUR FREE WEBINARS A Virtual Library of resources and tools supporting work in standardisation & webinars organised in line with Member's needs and possibly in cooperation with them.
VISIBILITY OPPORTUNITIES Promoting Members’ activities through various channels: our monthly Newsletter, dedicated news items on our website, social media.
POTENTIAL PARTNERSHIPS & PROFESSIONAL NETWORK Identify potential project partners and form alliances through exculsive access to an international network of experts and stakeholders in standardisation and product policy. ECOS can also help members establish relationships with their National Standards Body or other civil society stakeholders.
Can I become a member of ECOS?
A non-governmental organisation can become an associate member if:
it carries out its activities on a continuous basis, independent of any commercial, industrial or political influence or interest.
it demonstrates through its statutes and practice that: its main objective is to preserve, promote, defend and/or study environmental interests, with, in the latter case, the goal of advancing environmental protection; it has a national or regional outreach, and it works in one or more areas of environmental interests.
