Online workshop in French! Why standards matter for environmental protection – zooming in on durability

Together with our member Ethikis, we are organising an online workshop focusing on why and how civil society should get involved in standardisation in France. The effective participation of environmental NGOs in standards-making is key to making sure our planet is protected by robust rules – and this year we are focusing on the case of durability.

Join our online workshop to learn more about civil society engagement in standardisation and take a deep dive into how standards can help improve the durability of products!

Bringing together speakers from the French Ministry of Ecological Transition, AFNOR Normalisation, as well as civil society and the private sector, we will discuss:

  • Why it is important for civil society to be involved in standardisation;
  • How engagement of eNGOs in standards-making can be facilitated in France;
  • How standards can help push for the increased durability of products.

The online workshop will be fully in French.
