Meet our new member Runder Tisch Reparatur!
We are excited to welcome Runder Tisch Reparatur to the ECOS Network! Based in Germany, the not-for-profit organisation advocates for the strengthening of repair as an essential element of resource conservation at the German and European level.

Get to know them in our short Q&A with Runder Tisch Reparatur Coordinator and Head of Berlin office, Katrin Meyer.
Q: Could you briefly introduce yourself to the network? What is the mission of Runder Tisch Reparatur and which are your main activities at the moment?
A: Runder Tisch Reparatur is a German network organisation fighting for a universal right to repair. Active since 2015, RTR’s members come from repair businesses, environmental and consumer organisations, science as well as community repair initiatives. We discuss the future of repair, current repair barriers and how we can support repairers and consumers longing for repairable products internally as well as with policymakers and the general public. Runder Tisch Reparatur is a steering group member of the Right to Repair Europe campaign and is thrilled about the growing number of organisations from all around Europe demanding more repairable products and better conditions for professional and DIY repairers.
Q: What is your main interest in joining the ECOS network?
A: Product standards play a very important role when it comes to the repairability and durability of products. We’ve been following and engaging in standardisation activities regarding ecodesign and repair on the EU and national level and would like to intensify our involvement in these issues.
We are very excited to welcome Runder Tisch Reparatur as part of our network of members!
