Meet our new member: Repair & Share from Belgium

We are excited to welcome a new member to the ECOS Network: Repair & Share is a Belgian non-profit organisation dedicated to improving the quality, repairability and lifespan of products.

Would you like to get to know them better? Read our short Q&A!

Could you briefly introduce yourself to the network? What is the mission of Repair & Share and which are your main activities at the moment?

Repair & Share promotes the transition to a socially inclusive circular economy. We do this by supporting community initiatives like Repair Cafés and tool libraries and by stimulating companies and policy makers to invest in sharing and repairing. In June we launched a Belgian Right to Repair Campaign, calling on policy makers, shop owners and manufactures to make repair easier.

What is your main interest in joining the ECOS network?

We are happy that we can take advantage of the expertise of ECOS to submit strong policy proposals at Belgian level, in line with the European ones. Our membership of ECOS will certainly help us to broaden our network and to join forces with partners from different countries.

Here at ECOS, we are very much looking forward to cooperating with Repair & Share!
