ECOS and ECOCITY organised a workshop on standardisation and circular economy in Athens

More than fifty representatives of Greek civil society, public authorities and academia gathered in Athens, Greece, on 10 December, to discuss the role of NGOs in the standardisation system, as well as the role of standards in policy and how they can support the circular economy.

The workshop, organised by ECOS and our Greek member ECOCITY, was held under the auspices of the Ministry of Environment and Energy and received the support of ELOT, the Greek National Standards Body.

The agenda featured a great number of prominent speakers, including delegates from the European Commission, ELOT, the Ministry of Industry, the Ministry of Environment and Energy, the European Commission, the Technical Chamber of Greece and more.
