Call for Experts: Lamps, luminaires, and related equipment

Call for experts to represent the environmental interests in the development of European standards related to the design and performance of lamps, luminaires, and related equipment.

In particular, we are looking for experts to represent ECOS in the following groups:

• IEC/TC 34 ‘Lamps and related equipment’, responsible for international standardisation in the field of lamps, LEDs, control gear, luminaries, and related equipment.
• CLC/TC 34A ‘Lamps’, which prepares European standards based upon finalised international standards (IEC/TC 34) for electrical light sources, including lamps;
• CLC/TC 34Z ‘Luminaires and related equipment’, responsible for European standards based on concluded international standards (IEC/TC 34) in the lighting field, excluding lamps;
• CLC/TC 23BX ‘Switches, boxes and enclosures for household and similar purposes, plugs and socket outlets for d.c’, which prepares European standards for the aforementioned purposes.
