From bashing to praising Ecodesign
ECOS spoke at the ANEC-BEUC event “From bashing to praising Ecodesign – The true benefits to consumers”, at the European Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW) on the 15th of June.
After presenting the preliminary findings of a study commissioned to Ecofys on eco-design economic benefits, the panel discussed the palpable benefits brought by Ecodesign regulations. ECOS Director Laura Degallaix stressed how these regulations improve energy and resource efficiency, and have helped the EU reach almost half of its 2020 energy efficiency goals.
