ECOS team up with ANEC in Ecodesign standardisation

ECOS and ANEC strengthen their collaboration in the development of standards in support of Ecodesign and Energy Labelling for energy-related products. This collaboration will help ensure environmental and consumer interests are reflected most effectively in Ecodesign standards including for the development of test methods for the energy performance of energy-related products.

ECOS has been involved in standardisation developments for several key products, including space and water heaters, refrigeration appliances, motors, pumps, fans, lighting products, and smart appliances. To this we now add white goods, TVs, smart appliances, and vacuum cleaners among others. Our involvement is key to ensure that standards contribute to the energy saving potentials of Ecodesign Regulations.
