Watch it again! Online workshop in French: Why standards matter for environmental protection – zooming in on product durability

Together with our member Ethikis, we organised an online workshop focusing on why and how civil society should get involved in standardisation and took a deep-dive into product durability. Missed the event? You can now watch the recording!

Bringing together speakers from the French Ministry of Ecological Transition, AFNOR as well as civil society and the private sector, we discussed:

  • Why it is important for civil society to be involved in standardisation;
  • How engagement of environmental stakeholders in standards-making can be facilitated;
  • How the interplay of standards and policy plays out in practice focusing on the example of product durability.

It was held in French. You can view the agenda HERE.
