ECOS webinar: Designed to last? EU policies to foster repair – outcomes

ECOS Ecodesign Senior Programme Managers, Chloé Fayole and Christoforos Spiliotopoulos, hosted a successful webinar on 2 October 2018.

Together with Ugo Vallauri, Co-founder of The Restart Project, they discussed how Ecodesign and Energy Labelling policies can foster products repairability and recyclability at design stage, and notably:

  • The upcoming Package of product measures
  • Spare parts availability, access to key components: the provisions on the table to push repair and recycling
  • Repairability index, material efficiency standards: our views on what should come next
