ECOS Member Update: Green Science Policy Institute turns 10!

All our best wishes to our American member, the Green Science Policy Institute, who started their battle against toxic flame retardants 10 years ago and have been doing a truly excellent job ever since!

The Institute, whose mission it is to facilitate responsible use of chemicals to protect human and ecological health, educates and builds partnerships among scientists, regulators, businesses, and public interest groups to develop innovative solutions for reducing harmful chemicals in products.

It is also thanks to the Institute’s expertise that ECOS works to prevent the use of flame retardants in consumer products, so as to ensure that the use of potentially dangerous substances in products is minimised, limiting citizen and environmental exposure during the whole product life-cycle.
