CEWASTE project explained: take a look at the new infographic

Did you know that our waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) contains valuable and critical raw materials (CRMs) ? Currently, the recovery of these materials is highly insufficient.

CEWASTE is a Horizon 2020 research and innovation project which aims to develop a certification scheme to improve the efficiency and sustainability of CRM recycling. The two-year project will contribute to a better recovery of CRMs through improved collection, sorting and treatment of waste.

To explain the project in simple terms, the CEWASTE team designed an infographic, take a look!
