Bridging the gap between policy and science
Empowering the work of NGOs and other stakeholders on nanotechnology to ensure a proper risk assessment of nanomaterials
The objective of this one day event is to empower NGOs and other stakeholders to engage in nanotechnology debates, and to explore cooperation opportunities to ensure a proper risk assessment of nanomaterials.
We will look at the technical challenges in nano policy and regulation, share the preliminary outcomes and results of our joint project, and collect input and feedback from the participants to make certain that the project adequately serves the needs of civil society.
Limited travel support will be available for participants based in Europe, but not in Brussels. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org if you need travel support to attend. For those of you not based in Europe, we will provide a streaming facility to allow you to follow the discussions and participate in the sessions.
