On 13 June, ECOS Members gathered in Brussels for the 2018 General Assembly.
During the meeting, chaired by ECOS President Greg Archer, members were given a presentation on the past year’s achievements and a comprehensive update on the implementation of the organisation’s 2018 work programme. The members also discussed the strategic plan and priorities for 2019. Finally, Greg Archer (T&E) was elected ECOS President, together with the new Executive Committee, including four new members:
- Patrick ten Brinck (European Environmental Bureau)
- Ariadna Rodrigo (Zero Waste Europe)
- Ivana Rogulj (DOOR, Croatia)
- Robert Brett (individual member)
The General Assembly was followed by a stimulating discussion session on how we can make circular economy a reality, chaired by ECOS Senior Programme Managers Doreen Fedrigo and Chloé Fayole. Slides are available here.
We thank Members for their support and look forward to seeing them again soon!
