Chloé Fayole, Senior Programme Manager responsible for the Coolproducts campaign, and Nerea Ruiz Fuente, Programme Manager leading on the INTAS project, represented ECOS as speakers at the EU Sustainable Energy Week, which took place from 5 till 8 June 2018.
The Policy Conference is the most important European conference dedicated to sustainable energy policy issues. Sessions organised by the European Commission and energy stakeholders debated new policy developments, best practices and sustainable energy ideas, while networking events forge alliances. Outstanding projects were recognised at the Award Ceremony.
Public authorities, energy agencies, industry associations, businesses, civil society organisations and the media were all invited to take part in the conference.
ECOS was present in two sessions:
- Energy efficient products and market surveillance: strengthening the internal market, achieving EU’s energy efficiency goals, with a presentation from Chloé Fayole. The session, co-organised with PROSAFE, took place on 5 June. More information is available here, and the presentations can be downloaded here.
- Energy efficiency/management in industry and SMEs leading to more implementation of measures, with a contribution from Nerea Ruiz Fuente. This session was held on 6 June. A description of the session is available here, and Nerea’s presentation can be downloaded here.
