MarketWatch generated mainstream media attention in the UK, in Germany and internationally following findings that up to 20% of household products are not as efficient as claimed on their energy label.

MarketWatch project of which ECOS is one of the main partners is a consortium of 16 environmental and consumer NGOs that are building a sustainable network for civil society involvement in market surveillance of products covered by the Ecodesign & Energy Labelling Directives across the EU.
